Cavanagh 1-3/8"D gluten-free altar breads, for parishioners with Celiac, non-Celiac and general gluten sensitivities, contain no wheat and are made using garbanzo bean flour, potato starch, tapioca flour, whole grain sweet white sorghum flour, fava bean flour, palm oil and water. In accordance with FDA standards requiring food products labeled as gluten-free to have a gluten content less than 20 parts per million (ppm), Cavanagh gluten-free altar breads have a gluten content of 6 ppm, and are baked in a facility separate from their regular altar bread production. Cavanagh gluten-free altar breads are individually wrapped to prevent gluten contamination during transit and while stored, and have a guaranteed shelf life of one year.
