Imperial Woodworks' wood and metal frame stackable chairs are perfect for your church, classroom, office, hotel, hospital or other event venue!  Established in Waco, Texas in 1960, Imperial’s stackable chairs are handcrafted for comfort and durability, and feature underseat bookracks for storage and ganging devices for secure row configuration.  Optional features include kneelers, card/pencil pockets and wood trim options.  Chairs are available in over 180 wood finish/upholstery fabric combinations (see product pages below) to match and complement your interior décor.

Why should I consider stackable chairs for my church, classroom, office, hotel, hospital or other event venue?

Stackable chairs are not only durable and comfortable, but are also more versatile compared to permanent seating as they can be easily arranged and configured to accommodate almost all venue seating requirements, then conveniently stacked in your storage area until needed again.

Can I order stackable chairs to match my current interior décor?

Yes. Imperial’s stackable chairs are available in 15 stock wood finishes and 12 upholstery fabric choices, giving you 180 wood finish/fabric combinations to choose from (order samples provided for you). Premium wood finish and fabric options are also available for your specific décor requirements.

How many chairs can be safely stacked and stored?

This depends on the chair design and model; however, 5 or 6 chairs can usually be safely stacked, moved and stored. A small or medium-sized storage area should be adequate to store 5 stacks of chairs, with 5 chairs in each stack, enough to accommodate an event with 25 attendees.

Is the weight capacity of a stackable chair the same as a permanent chair?

Generally, yes. While stackable chairs don't have the same weight capacity of large or custom-designed permanent seating appointments, all Imperial Woodworks' stackable chairs, whether wood or metal frame models, have a weight capacity of 300 pounds.

How will my stackable chair order be delivered to me?

Imperial’s stackable chairs are delivered to you fully assembled. Depending on the number of chairs ordered, chairs may be shipped in individual outer cartons, or in wrapped “sleeves.” Stackable chair orders are generally delivered to you by a freight carrier.
