Murphy men's judicial robes are sized primarily by back length and chest measurement. Standard sizes range from a 45" to 57" back length, fitting individuals from approximately 5'2" to 6'5". Back length is measured from the center top of the neckline to the bottom hem, and chest is measured across the fullest part of the chest over your suit jacket. We also offer full-cut Wonder-Fit sizes for those requiring extra room in the chest and shoulders, ensuring the robe drapes properly without pulling. The Judicial Collection is tailored for a longer 7-inch floor clearance, or ankle length, offering a more formal, ceremonial appearance.

Most Murphy men's judicial robes are made from Wonder Crepe woven polyester, which drapes well and requires little to no ironing. The Delphi Collection uses Starlite ultra-light polyester for a lighter feel. Custom robe options are available in additional fabrics, including Viva 100% polyester and Tissue Faille. Care instructions across most styles are dry clean only.
